Privacy Policy: Don't Touch The Ice
Effective date: 9 October 2026
This policy explains how Outkraft Studios ("we", "us") handles information in our mobile game Don't Touch The Ice (the "Game"), available on Google Play as com.donttouchtheice.game.
The short version
- The Game has no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device. We don't receive them.
- The Game shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google collects some information from your device, as described below.
- We don't sell your information.
Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress (levels, coins, outfits and your village) and your settings (sound and graphics) in the Game's private storage on your device. We don't receive this information. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.
We don't add analytics or crash-reporting tools of our own to the Game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Some are short videos you can choose to watch for an in-game reward; others appear between levels. To serve, personalise (where allowed), measure and protect ads, Google may collect and process information from your device, including:
- device identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID;
- approximate location, worked out from your IP address;
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and network type;
- information about the ads you see and interact with;
- diagnostic and performance information.
This information is collected by Google, not by us. We don't receive it about you as an individual; AdMob gives us only combined reports, such as how many ads were shown. It is handled under Google's own policies:
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Ads may be personalised (based on your interests) or non-personalised, depending on your choices and the laws where you live.
Your choices about ads
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: before ads are shown, the Game asks for your choice about the use of your data for ads. You can change your choice at any time from Settings > Ad privacy choices in the Game.
- Everywhere on Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's settings, for example under Settings → Privacy → Ads or Settings → Google → Ads (the exact wording varies by device).
- Google's ad settings: you can manage how Google personalises ads at https://adssettings.google.com
Rewarded video ads are always optional: you only see one if you tap a button that offers a reward for watching.
Permissions
The Game uses internet access to load ads, and the advertising ID permission so that Google AdMob can work. It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
Children
The Game isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we'll help.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in Europe, POPIA in South Africa or the CCPA in California, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it's used. Because the Game doesn't send us personal information, we usually hold none to give you or delete. You can delete everything the Game stores on your device by clearing its data in your device's Settings → Apps, or by uninstalling it. For information Google collects through ads, you can use Google's controls (see above) or contact Google. You can always contact us with questions or requests.
Security
The Game stores its data on your device and doesn't send it to us. Information the Game exchanges with Google's services is encrypted in transit.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
